Walking to Jerusalem
In the old days, the Jewish people arrived in Jerusalem for the three "pilgrim" festivals of Pesach Shavuot and Sukkot. They arrived mainly by foot. This painting captures the more casual pilgrim walking in the year 2008 to the city of Jerusalem in the distance.
